Weird Wednesday
On the third Wednesday of every month, at both EM-Kino Stuttgart and the Blaue Brücke in Tübingen, we screen a selection of cult classics—as well as occasional previews or special screenings of brand-new hidden gems. Naturally, this includes a supporting program (short films, prize draws) and is presented in the original version. True to our motto: Weird, Wild, and Wonderful.

Von exklusiven Premieren- und Preview-Vorführungen heiß erwarteter internationaler Festivalfavoriten über spannende und faszinierende Dokumentarfilme bis hin zu frisch restaurierten Kultklassikern und ausgegrabenen Geheimtipps – mit jedem unserer handverlesenen Weird-Weekender-Titel möchten wir unser Publikum überraschen, unterhalten und herausfordern.
Außerdem gibt es Q&As mit anwesenden Filmemacherinnen, Festival-Talks, Panels, Aftershow-Partys sowie Präsentationen von Work-in-Progress-Projekten. Wir wollen sowohl Branchenprofis als auch CineastInnen einen Ort bieten, an dem sie sich vernetzen, austauschen und ihre Leidenschaft für das Kino teilen können.
UHRWERK BANANE is the film podcast hosted by Asfaha and Sven, where nonsense reigns supreme and no topic is safe from their scrutiny.
