Jason breaks free from his chains, makes short work of the seasoned soldiers, and is subsequently lured by Rowan into a cryo-chamber. While she succeeds in freezing the monster, she herself is also trapped by the paralyzing ice. In the year 2455, a research vessel lands on the now-devastated Earth, secures both subjects, and sets off for "Earth 2"—the new home humanity has established. Rowan is successfully revived, and, naturally, the same occurs for Jason. Once awake, the killer embarks on a bloody hunt for the teenagers on board.
